SLIM is partnering with High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC)–INNOVATE to offer student internships in energy and waste auditing. UHMC credit students and SLIM graduates who have completed the Home Energy Survey Professional (HESP) or Building Operator Certification (BOC) programs are eligible to apply. Other relevant work experience will be considered. Students are encouraged to apply for this exciting opportunity to obtain work experience at local businesses. Internships are paid, and credit students have the option to earn internship credits.
The internship program will award internships to 12 participants who will work in teams of 2 to provide commercial energy audits, waste reduction audits, and other resource improvements to local Maui manufacturing companies.
