Green Bag Lunch Event: SLIM and the Surfrider Foundation present the movie “Bag It”

Come join SLIM and the Surfrider Foudation as we present the movie Bag It.  Is your life too plastic?  Bag It follows “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he navigates our plastic world. Jeb is not a radical environmentalist, but an average American who decides to take a closer look at our cultural love affair with plastics. This documentary will increase awareness and hopefully inspire action and encourage more people to make the transition from plastic to reusable. The message of the film is that we use too much plastic. The issues include single use disposables, waste and recycling, ocean health and marine debris and human health.
