SLIM and OCET-VITEC Sustainable Business Program

The Sustainable Living Institute of Maui (SLIM) and OCET- VITEC established a Maui Sustainable Business Program for the Maui business community. This is a networking and support system for Maui business owners and managers as they adopt and institutionalize sustainable technology practices. The program includes ”pau hana” events with keynote speakers from around Hawaii that will discuss the latest innovative technologies in sustainability. Through this program, businesses can stay up to date with what is happening in the field and approaches for implementing greater sustainability. They will also learn about potential training opportunities at UHMC for employees.

This program is funded by the Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training (PCATT).

The events are open to the public from 5:30 – 7:30 and will be held in the Class Act Restaurant in the Pa’ina Building at Maui College. Please RSVP your name and business to sliminfo@hawaii.edu for the upcoming events:
