The Sustainable Living Institute of Maui at UH Maui College is offering Sustainable Leadership for Organizations in Spring 2020, a 2-day workshop on Oahu on April 16-17 and on Maui on April 23-24.
The workshops are designed for managers, engineers and aspiring leaders to learn how to apply sustainability principals in their organization to effect change. Acquire an understanding of the fundamentals of sustainability leadership for organizations and facilities using a system approach.
“This Course is designed for working professionals and managers who want to be leaders in sustainability but do not have the time to complete a full graduate degree,” said instructor Jennifer Chirico, PhD, Founder and CEO of Sustainable Pacific Consulting,
“Professionals can use what they learn right away to begin implementing sustainability initiatives in their own organizations and how to communicate their efforts to the community at large,” said Dr. Chirico.
Hawaii Energy is offering a $300 tuition sponsorship for participants.
