Entry Level Plant Operator Training

Whatever your skill set or education level, there may be a water career waiting for you!

Learn the fundamentals of working with water in Hawai’i in this entry-level training course that prepares students for beginning a career in water and wastewater treatment and management. Topics covered include basic water and wastewater math, science, treatment plant operations, safety, basic electrical systems operations, energy conservation, utility management, sustainability principles, and employment preparation.

  • Session Dates: DAY Sessions, Mondays, Sept 8; EVENING Sessions, Tuesdays/Thursdays, Sept 2
  • Times: DAY Sessions, 9:00AM – 3:30PM; EVENING Sessions, 6:00PM – 9:00PM
  • Location: Maui College, Laulima Building
  • Cost: $1000
