Youth Aquapono I  Fall Break (Oct 8-12)

A fast track certificate program on the natural resources pathway, Youth AquaPono I will deliver 40 hours of classroom and greenhouse lab training in the field of commercial aquaponics and hydroponics.

The project also includes a Part II 40-hour internship component and work-based training for students on-site in the UHMC aquaponics greenhouse and Maui Food Innovation Center to provide hands-on, immersive experiences in producing and harvesting fresh produce in the commercial greenhouse, and developing recipes and producing value-added food products in the commercial kitchen.

Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 8:30AM to 4:30PM

$450 tuition sponsored by Kamehameha School. FREE FOR MAUI STUDENTS IN GRADES 8-12, and recent graduates.
