Many sustainability and cost savings projects require us to monitor data over a period of time and often present this data to others in an easy to read and understand format. This course will concentrate on creating Dashboard type reports from data collected during periodic audits or in real-time. Dashboards can show a snapshot of current conditions, as well as tables and graphs tracking certain data points over time. Many tools have become available to the average consumer that used to be available only through expensive and proprietary systems. The following will be covered: Automating Data Collection, Public and Open Source Database Storage Options, Using Google Docs, Using Google Fusion Tables, Creating basic web-based dashboards, and publishing your data for various audiences.
