Growing your own food contributes to local sustainability and greater island food security. Join us for 4 engaging workshops to learn how to grow your own food in a small garden space and how to incorporate the natural ecology of our environment into organic food production. The workshops will include classroom and hands-on learning exercises in the new SLIM Community Garden at UHMC.
Instructor Bio: Tracy Tarlow has a BA in Environmental Studies, Garden Educator Training Certificate, and a Permaculture Design Certificate. She is a co-Garden Coordinator for the SLIM Community Garden at UHMC.
