Introduction to Permaculture

Learn the fundamentals of permaculture design in this three day workshop. This workshop will focus on the ethics, principles, and characteristics of using ecosystems as a model for agricultural design. This class also provides hands-on work in the SLIM Community Garden at UHMC, providing tips on how to incorporate your own permaculture gardens at home.

Instructor Bio: Tracy Tarlow has a BA in Environmental Studies, Garden Educator Training Certificate, and a Permaculture Design Certificate. She is a c0-Garden Coordinator for the SLIM Community Garden at UHMC.
