Lighting and controls are evolving near the speed of light, so whether you have already started an interior or exterior retrofit, or you still have original lighting, this class will provide you with all you need to know for retrofitting your lighting. From small businesses to large facilities, this class is designed for anyone to gain applicable lighting efficiency knowledge.
A lighting retrofit involves upgrading light fixtures or lamps to increase energy efficiency. Energy savings often offset the cost of these projects over time, while improving the quality of light levels and eliminating recurring maintenance costs. There are also Hawaii Energy Rebate opportunities for lighting that will be discussed in class.
Class will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th, 2019.
Tuition is $349. For business employees, Hawaii Energy sponsorship available with a reduced tuition of $49. Please email Edventure at edvmaui@hawaii.edu or call 808-984-3231 to request sponsorship.
