Entry Level Photovoltaic Design and Installation

The Entry Level Photovoltaic Training Program is a comprehensive training program that prepares students to become NABCEP certified.  It will train participants in the principles of small business and residential and/or commercial PV installation and design. The program includes training in the principles of sustainability, energy and electrical systems, renewable energy generation, project and worksite safety, and PC system design and installation planning. Attendees will be trained to design and plan for PV installation systems for residential and small business customers and work with customers in the field.  It is ideal for future employees who will be involved in small business and residential scale PV design and installation or residential and small business customers, helping them determine how PV technologies can be optimized to play a role in meeting their energy demands, as well as how much PV technology solutions will cost and how quickly they will pay for themselves.  Participants will also acquire leadership and communications skills that will serve them as invaluable tools to advance within their professional fields and careers.
